Princess Daisy and the dragon (and the nincompoop knights)

Summary:

A terrible noise is heard in the fairy tale kingdom. It doesn’t seem like the Nincompoop Knights can help! Only brave Princess Daisy knows how to solve this problem.

Comment:

This book revises the stereotypical fairy tale where a princess must be saved by inverting the narrative action. The book’s humour prevents it from being a heavy-handed reversal of typical fairy tales, and instead shows that girls (and princesses) can be as brave as anyone.
