Všechny barvy duhy
(All the colors of the rainbow) Book not yet available in English
Summary:
Eleven Czech authors, eleven young adult stories about courage, friendship, first loves, and the strength and determination to be true to oneself. In addition to stories by relatively well-known Czech YA authors such as Theo Addair and Alžběta Bílková, the book also features a number of debuts. Their heroes are searching for their own identities, forming complicated and unique relationships, and trying to find their place in a society that accepts them in some ways but discriminates against them in others. The stories deal with themes of homosexuality, bisexuality, and coming out, as well as non-binary, transgender, asexuality, and more.
