(Teodorico and the Stork Mothers) Book not yet available in English

Summary:

The White Stork and the Pink Stork were very, very close friends. One day, as they flew over the city, they came across an abandoned baby. Generous and protective as storks are, they didn’t even think twice: they took the baby to their nest. The three of them lived happily in a very comfortable nest on the highest branch of the Tree of Smiles and had friends all over the world thanks to the journeys they made every year during the migration season. But one day, when they returned to the forest where they lived, a terrible misfortune occurred and Teodorico, who had been baptised as such, was separated from his adoptive mothers.
Very difficult days awaited him, but a tiny hope peeked through the window Come and see this exciting story that will make you fly high.

Comment:

Teodorico and the stork mothers is, after all, a story of tenderness and immense sensitivity, about homo parenting and how it should be explained to the little ones. The book is a beautiful dream as the dreams of all children should be, full of love and gift and free of prejudice.
