Tanga is the daughter of the big wizard of the Toblongo tribe. She’s the fastest, bravest, and most nimble person of the whole village. Tanga immerses herself into the dangers of the jungle, and, with her intelligence and skills, she defeats the frightening leopard, contributing to the betterment of women’s condition in her tribe.


The setting of this tale is Africa. The story defends women who work outside the home. Its illustrations are full of strength, light, and realism.
