Comment:
This fresh and amusing novel by Bianca Pitzorno has a strong plot that arouses the reader’s curiosity and keeps them in suspense. Without clichés, it tells the story of the summer of three friends who face the turmoil and difficulty of growing up. The inevitable confrontation with Violante, a beautiful and temperamental TV star, but with a difficult past and a great fear of losing her privileges, leads to a reflection on very different female models, pushing the three girls to look for their own way out of strict models and impositions. Although there is a certain amount of competition and rivalry between the protagonists and the television diva, and in some cases also between the three friends, the novel gently shows that respect and friendship can always triumph.
