Summary:
The mother of Elias and her girlfriend Inari have moved together and are planning a church wedding. It’s hard for Elias to adjust to change and to a new family, where there’s now also Inari’s daughter Helga. It gets noisy at home and mom doesn’t have as much time for Elias as before. Elias’ best friend Priit, who likes to wear dresses sometimes and who is now visiting them for the wedding, brings joy to Elias’ life.

The children’s novel deals with the life changes brought about by a new family dynamic and the various emotions associated with it. Elias has difficulty adapting to the new dynamic. However, he is supported by his loving parents and grandfather. Little by little, Elias also finds a connection with Inari, mom’s new partner. The book is the third part of a series. The previous parts deal with Elias’ parents’ divorce and their new partners.
