The book features a two-mom family. The plot starts with a metaphor: the initial coldness of the house disappeared when love enters it. The girl and her mom live in a cold house, though it is full of books. That is, knowledge is not enough to make people happy. Happiness is boosted when mom meets a puppeteer, who introduce them to a form of art in movement. Before, books have been artistic objects, but they were asleep (as mom’s heart); now the puppets animate the books and the three characters become happy in daily life.
