Meseország mindenkié

(Brown-leaf, the prince is getting married and other inclusive tales) Book not yet available in English

Summary:

This collection of 17 traditional Hungarian tales offers a modern and inclusive version, so that children can learn about the diversity of the world and everyone can find their place.

Comment:

First published in Hungary in 2020 by a lesbian association, this book, initially confidential, was intended to serve as an educational tool to teach children about diversity and inclusion. The extreme right quickly targeted the book, which became a symbol of resistance to Victor Orban’s policies. It has been translated into a dozen languages.
