La princesa aburrida

(The boring princess) Book not yet available in English

This is the story of a princess who was very bored in her palace because she couldn’t do the things she liked. That’s why she was always complaining to her mother and father and saying that she didn’t want to be a princess. So, in the end, her parents had to let her be who she wanted to be. The princess studied a lot and became an educated woman.

This wonderful story is told in verse and written in capitals, with musicality. The nameless princess is bored as she doesn’t have anything to do. Finally, her parents accept her ambitions and allow her to leave the palace and fulfill her dreams. The story breaks gender stereotypes, especially those linked to princesses.
