Summary:
Zina, the daughter of Kosovo immigrants living in Slovenia, decides to go to university. Moving from a small town to a student dorm in Ljubljana, she finds herself caught between two worlds that define her. For Zina, one world is here, in Slovenia, and the other in Kosovo; but she is also divided between herself and her parents, between her, other immigrants and Slovenians, and between the two conflicting sides within her own self. Should she separate, distance herself, identify, draw closer, merge, or withdraw? And with whom, before whom, or from whom — when, after all, we are all just human beings?
