Summary:
The evening was falling, and it was starting to get cold. Suddenly, a powerful and deafening roar was heard in the African savannah. It was Ernesto, the lion, who was hungry and decided to go hunting. While he was looking for the perfect prey, he saw antelopes, buffalos, ostriches, rhinos, giraffes, gazelles, zebras, etc. When he was about to catch his prey, he heard a voice saying: “Ernestoooooooooo!”. His wife was asking why he hadn’t picked up their lion cubs at school.

Comment:
Lion and lioness teach kids that mom and dad must play the same role. The book makes the readers use their imagination to face challenges. The illustrator’s use of collage and recycled elements to create the characters is one of the strengths of this book.
