El libro de las princesas

(The book of princesses) Book not yet available in English

Summary:

Comment:

This is one of the very few children’s poetry books, with original verses and riddles. The characters are traditional but their attitudes are unconventional: a dragon that loses its three heads for love, Sleeping beauty snoring like a man, a soccer princess. In a funny way, the verses accompanied by pleasant illustrations in soft colors teach values of gender equality and tolerance.
