Curie, la atómica
(Curie, the atomic woman) Book not yet available in English
Summary:
Curie was an amazing and explosive girl. She learned to read by her own; she ice-skated, played the piano, spoke five languages (including Polish!) and was also very pretty. It seemed she didn’t have much more to discover, but she had only just begun. Her atomic energy would not stop until she solved one of the most puzzling and dangerous scientific mysteries of all time.

Comment:
Curie was a pioneer in radioactivity studies in a scientific world dominated by men. She was the first person to receive two Nobel prizes in different fields, and the first woman to be a professor at the University of Paris. The appealing images of the biography contribute to educating on feminism and gender equality.
