Cuentos clásicos feministas
(Classic feminist tales) Book not yet available in English
Summary:
This story introduces famous female characters such as Red Riding Hood, being hooked to computers, a princess stressed out by a pea emoji, and Cinderella having a very ordinary foot. It is a retelling of eleven classic tales from a new feminist perspective, which also celebrates contemporary heroines.

Comment:
These are not stories about romantic and affectionate love upseting the characters —especially the female ones. Instead, the protagonists become heroines who discover the danger of falling out of love, of becoming older, and of disappointment. The writer aims to reclaim this legacy full of humour, poetry, and terror, renewing it to make it more accessible and comprehensible to contemporary boys and girls.
