The current and pressing social issue is masterfully conveyed into literary language, and Stepančič’s imaginative illustration, which highlights the details of the black-and-white world, further enhances Gombač’s text. The illustrator’s focus on details is a beautiful contrast to the narrow-mindedness of the black-and-white worldview and adds an additional meaning to the text. (source: publisher)
