She faced all “moustaches and beards” that crossed her path; She did not stop until all the grandmothers, mothers, and aunts of Spain could vote and their voice could be heard.

This is the story of Clara Campoamor, a brave woman who had to make her way from a very young age in a society that was very misogynistic and hard for women. A story of courage and nonconformity that is an excellent example for readers. Its easy reading and appealing images contribute to educating on feminism and gender equality.
