Summary:
Aurora has had to move to a youth home and start ninth grade at a new school due to her mother’s alcoholism. Her mother’s situation is distressing Aurora, and even her tutor is not offering any real help. Fortunately, the music of her favorite band brings her comfort. At the very beginning of the school year, Aurora gets detention. There she meets Eino, who plays ice hockey and is aiming to make the under-16 national team, who had ended up in detention due to Aurora’s actions and dishonesty. Defiant Aurora and conscientious Eino discover that they are in the same home economics class, and they get to know each other. Gradually the two fall in love.

The flip book Aurora/Eino tells the same story from two different perspectives. Due to a misunderstanding, the two students meet in detention, where a story begins about connection, dreams and big feelings. Aurora is not doing well because she is not getting the support she needs at the youth home. Eino’s thoughts revolve around his ice hockey dream. The youngsters are different and come from different backgrounds. However, they fall in love and find their own kind of connection with each other. Aurora and Eino support each other in both good and bad times and safely experiment with things related to dating, including intimacy. The novel is written in easy language.
