Variações, which he decided to call himself, made himself. And when he achieved what he always dreamed of, when everyone on the street greeted him, when his music exploded on the radio, he died. Too soon, we all say. But even with a short time of life and music, he left us all a unique and extraordinary legacy that still inspires so many Portuguese musicians and artists today. This book is the result of that inspiration and also a tribute to a man who gave us everything he had to give.
