Angry Arthur

Summary:

This is a story about Arthur who got very angry when he was not allowed TV.

Comment:

The focus on Arthur’s feelings of anger and frustration is important in that it facilitates the exploration of difficult emotions, particularly significant in that it focuses on a young boy’s emotions. The book does not confine or teach a lesson about anger, but instead allows Arthur, and the reader, to explore this emotion and the interplay between text and image encourages the reader to think about this too.
