Comment:
The book fosters gender equality concerning careers, blurring the traditional lines that separated male and female work profiles. The message is simple and yet cogent: whatever you wish to do, make sure you do your best and, mainly, that you enjoy yourself. In addition, the tale dignifies household chores. In fact, the father is happy with what he does, and he even teaches his children to dance tangos with the help of his broomstick. Besides, it should not go unnoticed that it is a girl who realizes that his dad’s profession is as relevant and necessary as any other, and she declares that defending his choice against criticism shows women’s courage to fight for right reasons.
