Violeta Parra para niñas y niños
(Violeta Parra for boys and girls) Book not yet available in English
Summary:
We follow in the footsteps of the Chilean artist and music anthropologist Violeta Parra, a wanderer who searched for songs in the far reaches of Chile so that those songs wouldn’t be forgotten over the years. We will explore the life of an artist who felt very close to her people. Violeta learnt by herself to play several instruments, to paint on cardboard, to embroider wool in sackcloth bags… she was a recycler!

Comment:
Educational purpose should be highlighted as it describes the life of an independent woman, Violeta Parra, who wants to give a legacy to society. This is the second volume of a collection. The book includes educational activities and games for kids.
