Comment:
This comical, energetic story is bound to be a hit with young children, giving them a princess, a knight, a dragon, and a love story. The knight has his head in the clouds, but to conquer the beautiful princess’s heart once and for all, he must brave terrible dangers. The illustrations appear to be computer-generated and are more mechanical than in Geoffroy de Pennart’s previous titles, but they suit the book, which piles up cliché after cliché with considerable panache. It’s great fun to predict everything coming. [Nathalie Beau, La Revue des livres pour enfants]
