¿Ni tontas ni locas? Cuando anónimo era sinónimo de mujer

(Neither foolish nor mad? When anonymous was synonymous with woman) Book not yet available in English

Summary:

This book aims to give names to those women who were anonymous to the men who wrote history. Women who had to disguise themselves as men to be or do what was allowed to them, artists and scientists overlooked because of their gender, women who risked their lives to change the rules of the game, women with a take-charge attitude… and some to be feared.

Comment:

This work explores how, throughout history, women have been relegated to anonymity and disqualified simply for being women. Through a critical and accessible analysis, the authors reflect on the invisibility and stereotypes that women have faced.
