Summary:
Sinsombrero women, representatives of the Generation of ’27, mark a key era in Spanish cultural history. Although they were silenced during the Spanish dictatorship, the author rescues the memory of these figures such as María Teresa León, Maruja Mallo, Concha Méndez. Their bold and passionate legacy, both in the public and private spheres, paved the way for today’s women. Despite the impact of the Civil War, these women continue to inspire the pursuit of freedom and equality in Spanish society.
