A collection of rap lyrics for the young (and the young at heart) proves that the idea of taking rap off the streets, out of the clubs, off the concert stages and radio, and onto the printed page is anything but crazy. Much credit goes to editor Aljoša Harlamov for the carefully curated poems that don’t miss a beat, even on paper. This groundbreaking volume, the first of its kind in Slovenia, features twenty tracks by eighteen rappers, showcasing just how wide-ranging and expressive Slovenian rap can be — thematically, linguistically, and stylistically.
