Doctor Dünkelkopf first appeared in public as an imaginary radio therapist, a late-night problem solver of on the airwaves, which is not surprising, since Mateja Perpar is a long-time radio host. The purpose of such radio broadcasts was to encourage listeners to talk, to speak out about certain issues. They shared their experiences and wisdom about the lives of their radio acquaintances. Unusual, sometimes quite bizarre cases have now also found their way onto the pages of a splendid book, which the author had written with the help of an actual expert, psychiatrist and psychotherapist Karin Sernec. The answers that the imaginary doctor provided therefore have a professional, real-life basis and will certainly be even more interesting and applicable for young readers. Moreover, Mateja Perpar’s writing is fresh, lively, and highly entertaining. (source: publisher)
