One of the best juvenile books I’ve read there… He speaks, from the perspective and innocence of a child, in the form of a letter he writes to a friend in an exchange of letters with children from other parts of the world about his life as an adopted son (I deduce) of a gay couple, but how that is the most normal thing in the world for him, and he does not understand how there can be people who do not accept it. As long as there is joy and love in a family, what does it matter how it is constituted? How many “normal” families do we see in which there is only unhappiness, mistreatment and worse? He also talks about his school, teachers and friends. The things he likes the most, and favorite subjects, dreams and games. All in easy-to-read and fluent writing, and with an incredible notion of what is right and wrong in the world, what you can and shouldn’t do. Respect above all. It talks about grandparents and even the crisis in which we live. It speaks fondly of his parents, whom he likes and esteems very much, it is undoubtedly a charming book, very interesting for children, and even for adults, many should read it to remember certain things, what is important and is not, the respect we should have for each other… A book that I recommend without any reservations.
