Talking about sexuality, a topic that is (still) often considered a taboo, to a young audience means finding a compromise between scientific rigour and understanding on the one hand, and clarity and sincerity on the other. By doing so, it is possible to help readers develop a positive and healthy relationship with their bodies and emotions, even as those bodies and emotions are changing.
In this graphic novel, published by Beccogiallo as part of the “CriticalKids” series, sexologist and science communicator Chiara Gregori offers us a short guide to sexuality.
