Ich bin anders als du
(I'm Not Like You) Book not yet available in English
Summary:
Various children, many similarities and differences. On one side of the book, young readers learn that one girl differs from her friend because she is an only child and her friend has many siblings. On the other side of the book, readers learn that two boys are connected by their love of animals. The book conveys differences and similarities in a variety of ways. It constantly plays with expectations and hasty attributions – not to mention a sprinkling of some wonderfully surprising page turns. The middle of the book presents a central realization: “I am me!”
