Una sottile linea rosa

(A thin pink line) Book not yet available in English

Summary:

Perla loves sport. Her first and only passion is running and she is really good at it. She has a very dear friend, Allegra. With her, she shares joys, pains, and ice cream. She also has a strange reaction every time she meets Cesare, a boy a little older than her, involved in competitive athletics too. One evening, during the Sport Festival, Perla and Cesare get together. Days later she discovers she is pregnant. What should she do?

Comment:

The book deals with an important theme; it is unfortunate that those who would choose to have an abortion are subtly blamed for it. All the positive characters in the book advise her to keep the baby, while the negative one alone advises her to have an abortion.
