La chica que coleccionaba sellos y el chico que esperaba un tren

(The girl that collected stamps and the boy that waited for a train) Book not yet available in English

Summary:

When someone is not safe in a place, they are forced to adopt a series of habits to ward off their fate. Perhaps that is why Guillermo insists on waiting for a train that does not carry the person he wants to meet. At the same time, Isabel, a classmate, discovers his secret and shares with him a great stamp collection. The two friends give each other life lessons throughout their hobbies. Guillermo’s patience is a plea for hope, whereas Isabel uses her stamp collection to show that also mistakes can be very important. Their friendship and the tenacity with which they convince each other that little things will make them happy make a foolproof friendship.

Comment:

It is a story that breaks traditional and rooted stereotypes. Young people will learn the essential values of human beings, as well as the basis of an authentic and equal friendship.
