This book contains information about great Bulgarian women. For example, the Theater section provides a photo and brief information of the legendary actors Tanya Mesalitinova (1921-2014) and Konstantin Kisimov (1897-1965) in a scene from the play “Twelfth Night” (1948) by Shakespeare. In the Cinema section you can find photos and information about Nevena Kokanova (1938-2000), called “the first lady of Bulgarian cinema”, and Katya Paskaleva (1945-2002), in scenes from the films “The Peach Thief” ( 1964) and “The Goat’s Horn”. Moreover, in the Music section there are photos and information about Lili Ivanova, who became famous worldwide, Gena Dimitrova (1941-2005), and Raina Kabaivanska (1934), world famous Bulgarian opera singers.
The Dance Art section provides photos and information about Vera Kirova born in 1940, one of the famous prima ballerinas.
