Comment:
This funny book centers on the importance of saying no in order to not give up one’s uniqueness and authenticity, as well as one’s strongest desires. This message is relevant for both children and adults, especially parents, who should try and overcome their prejudice and stereotyped ideas to help their children to take their own decisions and feel free to choose what they really like and want. The book is richly illustrated but the length and complexity of the text make it a challenging read for older children.
