What is a child?

Summary:

“A child is a small person” with small hands, small feet, and small ears, but this doesn’t mean that s/he has small ideas.

Comment:

A hymn to childhood, a poetic book which touches one’s heart, showing the world of boys and girls, and emphasizing the importance of diversity and authenticity of each person with simple words and beautiful illustrations. This exciting book uses short and simple sentences that are typical of children’s language, to create a gallery of portraits and situations in which everyone can recognize themselves. One only flaw: the generic masculine “boys” is used to refer to girls as well, although they are well represented in this book through illustrations.
