Summary:
Branko loses his mother and his home. Soon, he is suspected of theft and put in jail. But he is rescued by Zora, the girl with red hair, who takes him into her gang. In an old castle high above the town, the children live on their own, struggle through life, and stick together even in times of hunger and hardship. Nothing can shake their friendship, until the citizens of the small costal town decide to put an end to their hijinks, and get Zora and her gang behind bars…
