Summary:
This comic book tells the story of Marie-Claire Chevalier, a young woman who became a symbol of French feminists’ struggle for abortion rights in the 1960s and 1970s. After being raped, Marie-Claire had an abortion with her mother’s help. Reported by the rapist, both women were arrested. They were defended by lawyer Gisèle Halimi in a trial that remains famous in the history of feminist struggles.
