Summary:

The novel unites four storylines, developing in a conflict-filled and bloody 20th century. The plot intertwines the most sinister part of human history – the Holocaust and the concentration camps of Nazi Germany – with the most insane conflict in history – the Arab-Israeli conflict. The discord between two people who know that they come from the same person – Abraham/Ibrahim, and who, despite having much more in common than differences, have been waging a daily fratricidal war for seventy years. In the course of the plot, the victims become abusers and then victims once again, but this time of their own fears, complexes, and thirst for revenge.

Comment:

In the book, the author tries to reach the darkest dungeons of the human soul, where evil and good are born. The three main characters are at the same time very different from each other in origin, faith and fate, but at the same time they are connected by the invisible threads of the fall. The stories and destinies of the characters are so intertwined that each of them must forgive the other for things that are unforgivable in this life, so that he can find peace and continue his path.
