Summary:
Errol’s teddy bear, Thomas, is sad until he tells Errol that he has always known to be a girl teddy bear and wants to be called Tilly. Errol and Tilly change Thomas’ bow-tie into a hair bow for Tilly. Errol only cares that the teddy bear is his friend.

The book explains just enough for a child to grasp the understanding of transgender, without getting into huge concepts. It is also just a lovely story with amazing illustrations.
