Woolvin’s follow-up to Little Red shows Rapunzel as a defiant, unafraid, and unfazed character, similar to Little Red. Rapunzel defies the threat of a curse, representative of the inhibitions that keep girls in their place, and finds a way out of the tower, reading books about how to defeat witches with her friends.
