Summary:
Aduni is one of millions of girls in Nigeria doomed to poverty, ignorance and a voiceless existence. Forced to drop out of school and enter the adult world, she finds herself at the beginning of the most important journey of her life, a journey to discover and declare herself and realize her dreams. Despite seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Aduni never loses sight of her goal – to escape the fate she was born with and build a future of her own choosing, helping other girls like her achieve the same. Is it possible, through sheer strength of spirit, to fight to find your voice and not just a voice, but a “voice of thunder”?
