Pünktchen und Anton

(Dot and Anton) Book not yet available in English

Summary:

The story of an extraordinary friendship. Night after night, Dot sneaks out of her room to sell matches in the middle of Berlin, even though her parents are rich. It’s a very different story for Anton, who hardly knows where he’ll get his next meal from. Even though the two live in different worlds, they are close friends. Good thing, too, as when thieves come to rob Dot’s parents’ house, Anton is there with courage and drive.

Comment:

This is a moving story about friendship and good moral values. A thought-provoking tale, for children and adults alike.
