Ten little fingers and ten little toes

Summary:

This book looks at the lives of different babies from all over the world, but they all have ten little fingers and ten little toes.

Comment:

One of the most notable elements of this book is that it does not use gendered pronouns, but refers to boy and girl babies simply as babies, and uses “its” instead of the gendered pronoun on occasion. It emphasises the commonality between boys and girls from all over the world through the link of ten little fingers and ten little toes.
