Maia Kobabe captures in detail the whirlwind of fumbleing, confusion, and frustration, which hit them with puberty. After years of searching for answers and accepting them, they realized they are a queer nonbinary asexual person. This isn’t a new topic; on the contrary, it’s as old as humanity itself, but we are only now learning and talking about it.

Through a deeply personal, introspective story, identities like asexuality or being nonbinary can become accessible to people who are trying to understand them better or are searching for their own identity. This book can clarify many topics surrounding identity for them.
