Summary:
Felix Love has never been in love—an irony he is painfully aware of. He desperately wants to find love and know what it feels like. It seems that everyone around him has successful relationships, but his soulmate eludes him. The book is interesting and unique in its portrayal of a person who is often underrepresented, not only in literature. He faces obstacles like everyone else, but he also encounters difficulties that he must deal with due to a prejudiced environment. It is about the experience of a person with a multifaceted, intersectional identity and a unique description of racism even within the LGBT+ community. We see the impact that an unaccepting environment can have on an adolescent, but also how they can find support in friendships.
